Vale Biotech was founded on the belief that neurological suffering should never be treated as an inevitable disappearance of the person.
We bring fundamental research, patient-centered care, and systems engineering into one organization so promising science can become a pathway people can actually reach.
How we began
Vale Biotech began in a university incubator, where Richard Vale and Dr. Robert Ellison built a working laboratory around questions they had first debated in seminar rooms. Vale saw a path from research to patients. Ellison wanted philosophers, scientists, and engineers testing the same claims against the same evidence.
As Founding Director of Cognitive Systems, Ellison wrote the company's original research charter and the continuity constraint that still guides our work: a restorative system must preserve multiple viable pathways through identity.
More than a decade later, Clarity+ carries that interdisciplinary foundation from individualized mapping into clinical care.
